Only editing here is what Instagram forces in terms of the square crop + Lofi / Lux filters (to simulate HDR & remove the haze that's very prevalent when using the LG G2 with it's anti reflective coating on the lens glass in the back).
The busier I'm getting with work & small business the less I find the time to bring out the Nikon D90 ( and less enticed after losing the partner in crime as well ) so the smart phone + better quality pictures + Instagram to be able to process quickly without the need for a fancy capable laptop & photoshop software fits the bill.
The other very interesting little fact about Instagram since I discovered it couple years ago, if willing to leave the feed open ( and deal with the few random occasions when folks may abuse the free access you allow ), is the snapshot nature of being able to scroll down and instantly see the improvement in composition as I practice.
The fact that I'm ONLY allowed a square to frame ANY given shot forces creativity ( at least for my wiring anyways) and the feedback from the community of photographers I've met over the last couple years ( pro & amateurs ) has been GREAT.
It's VERY interesting to see which pictures gets what volume of traffic or potential comments ( specially when someone actually takes the time to but a comment in about the actual photography aspect ).
Bare with me as I archive the handful that I really want backed up on here weekly/monthly.
There's never a shortage of photo art material now for me and the little sis for personal / office / home use. It always puts a smile on my face when I see my lil sis use some of my art & photography in her daily life (=
