11 years ago, when my lawyer hinted at possibly being send off because of Green Card process changes after 01 I decided to walk into Carmax and buy a Corvette at 27.

Later that year I volunteered for two SCCA autocross events as staff via the Corvette owners club and ran mine a few laps.

I'll never forget the event at the old Anderson SC airport runway. Betty Boop GA Licensed black C5 Z06 with GrandSport style pink stripes driven by a lady in her mid 40s was the underdog but the clear winner of the day in ALL brackets. She DROVE the wheels off that Z06 and beat everyone in time attack laps in her age group/category.

The husband drove the SUV/Trailer and acted as her pit crew changing wheels/tires and checking everything mechanically and pit side service between laps.

Back then I didn't even own a camera ... that came a full 5 years later and finally with digital photography I picked up learning it and shooting for memory sake & personal desktop backgrounds and art at office and home for me & my little sister.

I don't have many memories of younger days specially since I never appear in pictures, don't like to be in them, don't like anyone taking pics of me and just stay behind the camera. Little did I know this cost me dearly in a way years later ( so here is my attempt at improving that slowly ).

So now that I'm half decent at taking pictures, borrowed a helmet, and decided to take a few pics of myself for old time sake until I get the C5 Z06 in the next few months and track it with my buddy who takes his FRS a few times a year ( and if that fails ... then the FRS will do too ).

Having enough credits to almost have completed my minor in Psych, I recall the logic behind certain therapy. Much like the therapy for fear of heights for example ... picking up the D90 and going weekly will be my therapy.

Still quiet a mental exercise with out the one & only partner in crime but eventually I'm hoping it will work because I can't give up photography. No way, no how !!!
